A Narrative Quandary

Deciding whether to use first or third person for my new novel

I’m writing this during a thunderstorm. The heatwave that has been affecting the UK for the past week has finally broken, at least here in Bristol, and we have some very welcome heavy rain, lightning, and huge rolling peals of thunder.
